Qualifications for Cypriot Citizenship

To qualify under the Cyprus Citizenship by Investment Program, the following criteria must be met:

  • The principal applicant must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid passport and reside legally in a country.

  • Have a Net Worth of of €3,000,000, and be able to document the source of funds.

  • Dependents include the spouse, minor children, and financially-dependent adult children students up to age 28.

  • Applicants must pass a Due Diligence examination and have no criminal record.

  • Must have had a Schengen visa or still be holding a valid for or within the past 5 years.

  • Applicants must make a qualifying investment in Cyprus, as detailed below.

Investment Options

Applicants must make one of the following qualifying investments in Cyprus:

Cyprus Citizenship by Alternative Investment Fund “AIF” Investment.

  • Total cost of €825,000 (including all fees).

  • Have a Net Worth of of €3,000,000, and be able to document the source of funds.

  • Applicants must purchase €500,000 personal residence at approved location.

  • Of the €825,000 price, €500,000 is a real estate asset in the applicant’s name, so the net cost is €325,000, including govt donation of €150,000, legal, VAT and all legal and professional costs and fees.

Cyprus Citizenship by Real Estate Investment (including all fees)

  • Total cost of €2,555,000 (including all fees).

  • Applicant must invest €2,000,000 in Cyprus real estate.

  • The applicant will receive rental income from the real estate properties.

  • If the investment is made in new construction, the personal residence is included in the €2,000,000 real estate investment.

  • Other than the lifetime personal residence, the real estate may be sold in 5 years.
