The Bulgaria Permanent Residence and Citizenship Program allows an applicant to obtain permanent residency in 4 – 6 months. Applicants may then apply for full Bulgarian citizenship after holding permanent residence for 5 years. Qualifications for Bulgarian Citizenship

The principal applicant must be at least 18 years old (no maximum age).
The applicant must possess a valid passport and reside legally in a country.
The applicant must pass a medical and security background check.
The applicant must provide a declaration explaining the source/origin of invested funds (no detailed documents required).
The applicant must visit Bulgaria four times, for 2-4 days (but no further in-country residence requirement).
